    It was a rainy evening outside, but a delicious gathering inside Nice Bistro!

    TableauOn October 15, I had the privilege of attending a dinner and wine and cheese at the restaurant Nice Bistro in Whitby, Ontario. This French restaurant with a provençal style, masterfully directed by Manon and Bernard, the owners, created a memorable dining event. The very warm and friendly atmosphere allowed us to appreciate the skill of the chef Bernard through a well balanced menu, accompanied by local wines and cheeses. I must say that the Malivoire wines we tasted were quite delectable. The wines were presented by Mark Booth of  Malivoine Winery. The cheese plate featured Best Baa Dairy sheep cheeses and I provided the commentary on the Eweda, Mouton Rouge and Ramembert cheeses we enjoyed. For many guests tasting sheep cheese was a new experience; their discovery was a pleasant one!
